ELECTRIC MACHINES

BULIPU GRINDER

Sue Tucker: “This was my first grinder, no instructions so I didn’t realise I had to add water!!!. All went well until it started giving me electric shocks!!!. Luckily Amazon gave me a full refund “.

GRYPHON GRYPHETTE

Sue Tucker: “This one was a good price even including delivered  from USA (arrived in 5 days – £195)”.

REPLACEMENT GRINDER BIT

Sue Tucker: ” e

Exactly as expected. (Wish they lasted longer on crockery)”.

AXMINSTER SCROLL SAW

Sue Tucker: “Good for cutting intricate MDF or Wedi board”.

DKIEIE BAND SAW

Sue Tucker: “Great for cutting large and fast MDF and Wedi board”.

CUTTERS

TOOL STARTER PACK

Sue Tucker: “This was my first tool I bought, still going strong apart from new wheels for the cutters. Don’t forget to mark the cutters with a pen so that when they are blunt and you turn them you are using a sharp edge. Turn using an alan key.

Top Tip: The cutters didn’t go close enough for me so I removed the spring and sanded down the wheel notch until the wheels were close enough.

SPARE WHEELS

Sue Tucker: ” Great replacement”.

SEABELL POWERPLUS DOUBLE WHEELED CUTTERS

Sue Tucker: “I saw a review of these on Treasury Road and had to buy them. Lightweight, wheels numbered, alan key in the back. BUT if you look at them from the side v normal nippers the wheels are very close to the rest of the metal. Everything gets in the way, I removed the 2 bits of mechanics and still cant cut large pieces. Also changed the spring to the one the same as standard nippers”.

SEABELL CERAMIC SCISSORS

Sue Tucker: “I saw these somewhere and had to buy them. They came very fast from Australia to UK. They are great but not accurate as double wheeled cutters. Also how do you sharpen them?”.

FILING/ MISC

SOFT GRIP TILE FILE

Sue Tucker: “I found this difficult to hold and use”.

DIAMOND HAND PAD

Sue Tucker: “As I use mostly crockery, sometimes when you grind the edge of a patterned piece it takes a bit of pattern off so I use the nail file to finely smooth the pattern edge”.

NICK'S GRINDERS MATE

Sue Tucker: ” Got to admit I was dubious at first that it would hold a small piece of tile or crockery, but it performed well, saved me filing my fingers. Wish it was thinner as it only just touches and uses the top of the grinding bit”.
